The Initial Process

Phone Consultation

All new projects begin with a 30 minute phone call where we go over the following:

1. Your home and where it’s located Design challenges and an overview of the SOW (Scope of Work).

2. Your timeline and budget.

3. Your style and where you like to shop for furniture and home decor.

4. What success will look like for you when working with an interior designer.

5. After this phone call, if we decide we are a good fit for each other, we then set up the in-person design consultation at your home.

In-Person Consultation

During this 1 to 2 hour meeting at your home, I’ll walk through your space(s) with you and take detailed notes about what you’re looking for. I’ll also take photos and measurements of each space. We’ll dive even deeper into your style preferences (colors you love and hate, patterns, fabrics, furniture pieces you need, pieces you’ll be keeping for the new design, etc.). This is a great time for you to share with me as much as possible so I can put together a beautiful custom design plan that will fit your vision!

The Proposal

Within five business days of our design consultation appointment, I’ll email you a detailed proposal that outlines the scope of work based on everything we’ve discussed with the associated design fees for the work. My hourly fee includes my time in preparing the aesthetic direction accordingly, curating your custom design and presentation, sourcing and ordering all products, and tracking deliveries of said products. After reviewing the proposal, you will decide if you’d like to move forward and, if so, a contract will be in place to sign. Then, the project will be underway!
